Jaye Rhee: Movement for Colors and Lines

"The Flesh and the Book" video and photography project explores the intersections between performance, the moving image, and sound installation. Casting original dancers of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Rhee renders the human body as minimalist shapes that serve as an improvisational selection of 'notes' within a musical composition co-created with composer Elliott Sharp.
